Ok so this recipe isn't really my grandmas chicken salad but every time I think of chicken salad, I think of Joey from the show Friends :) if you don't know what I am talking about watch the episode " the one with the triplets " you won't be disappointed! It's hysterical! Anyway I make this crazy good chicken dip that all my friends steal for parties. I wanted a chicken salad similar to it. I figured it couldn't be bad to recreate the recipe on a lighter note. I am always trying to make recipes that I love lower calorie.
Here is the recipe :
2 cans of chicken
4-6 tablespoons of light mayo (depends on your particular liking)
Garlic salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Drain the chicken, shred the chicken put in a bowl. Add the mayo and see how you like it. I made the first batch with 6 tablespoons but next time, I would probably use less. Then add the garlic salt and pepper to taste. It's so easy and really good! I made it into eight servings, 100 calories apiece. If you use less mayo it would be less calories.
